And now, here are 2 Super Ideas, 4 Super Quotes, and 7 Super Questions to ponder this week…

2 🌟 Super Ideas of the Week

1. Family Gratitude Tree:
Create a "Gratitude Tree" with your family. Use a large poster board and draw a tree with branches. Each week, have your kids write something they are thankful for on a paper leaf, and attach it to the tree. Watch it bloom with gratitude over time.

2. Monthly Family Challenges:
Set up a monthly challenge for the family, like "No Sugar Week" or "Daily Walks Together." It’s a great way to promote healthy habits and encourage teamwork while making lasting memories.

NOW WHAT? (Continued from issue 1)

OMG, that test has 2 lines!!!!

Is that right? No, it can’t be right. I am going to buy another test to be sure.

This one has 2 lines too. Is this real? Am I really PREGNANT?!?!?!

What do I do now?

Who do I talk to about this? My husband? Is he going to be supportive?

We talked about trying to get pregnant but was he really serious?

I need to tell my mom, but I don’t want to get her excited yet.

Maybe I can tell my friend, she will know what to do. Wait, she’s never been pregnant before. Maybe I will tell my other friend that has been pregnant before and ask what she did.

I am not sure what to do.

OK Just Breathe!

Stay calm.

Talk to the father first. Remember it takes 2 to make a baby.

It’s my body. What is going to happen now?

There will be this alien growing inside of me and it’s my job to take care of it.

I guess I should contact my doctor to make sure I do things right.

I will call my Gynecologist and get an appointment as soon as I can.

Those were the thoughts that continued to go through my head right after the “Now What” question.

Yes, I took 2 pregnancy tests because I didn’t trust the cheap test’s results.

My period came every 25 days like clockwork. So when is was day 35 and no signs of it were present, that’s when I bought the cheap test on my way home from work.

We had been married for almost 2 years and we talked about “trying” to get pregnant but were we really serious about it.

Well, there was only one way to find out, so I bought another more expensive test and told my husband that I was going to be taking it that night.

It was just before we both went to bed that I entered the bathroom with the new test in hand. Still nervous that I would do it wrong, I read the directions 2 or maybe 3 times before I broke the seal.

It said that I was to pee on the test area then wait 10 minutes for the results to show. That had to be the longest 10 minutes of my life. (This was a while ago that’s why it took 10 minutes)

My husband had crawled into bed and was almost asleep when I came out of the bathroom with the test in hand and whispered to him, “You are going to be a dad.”

To which he said, “You are going to be a mom!”

WHAT’S NEXT?

Back to that in the next newsletter…

Stay inspired, Super Moms!

Remember, you’re doing an amazing job, one day at a time. 💪💖
