The Holiday season for a lot of SuperMOMs means a lot of shopping and buying presents for their children and loved ones. Many of those presents for the children are usually TOYS, TOYS, and more.

What are your thoughts about the old toys? Do you add the new ones to the piles, donate, or throw out the old toys?

I remember that my daughter’s toys were all the little pieces.

OMG, when she received toys with little pieces I immediately took those little pieces and put them in sealable

containers so I didn’t end up stepping on them or sucking them up with the vacuum.

What one memory do you have of all those TOYS?

And now, here are 2 Super Ideas, 4 Super Quotes, and 7 Super Questions to ponder this week…

NOW we need to be concerned?!?!?! (continued from Issue 10)

NOW we need to be concerned about the other life! I was concerned about the other life when I first saw those 2 blue lines on that pregnancy test.

What more could stress me out more than to have to go to a hospital before my due date?

I spent the next week in the hospital on IV steroids with a baby heart monitor strapped to my belly.

I thought I was going home. I just wanted to be in my bed with my husband by my side. They told me I would be going home as soon as I showed signs of my ability to move and feel. I was walking to the bathroom with the use of a walker, but still on my own. I could feel the cold floor under my feet and through my socks that has to be proof enough, right?

What number am I up to?

First, I had morning sickness which was stressful.

Second, there was all the talk of the world coming to an end due to Y2K.

Third, I was bleeding vaginally.

Fourth, MS made me a paraplegic which wasn’t supposed to happen.

FIFTH – my heart rate went above 200 beats per minute!!!!!

A normal adult female’s heart rate is around 60 to 80 beats per minute. Mine suddenly jumped to over 200, while my baby’s was at a steady 150 beats per minute.

My night nurse was in a panic. She called in the head floor nurse, who then called the on-call cardiologist, who then called the on-call pulmonologist, who then called the on-call OBGYN, who then called the on-call pediatrician. All this because the pregnant lady, who was supposed to remain calm and not be stressed, suddenly had a heartbeat WAY ABOVE NORMAL!

Oh by the way my husband had just left the hospital after sitting with me for dinner. I had told him to go home with his mom who was in town for moral support. I told him I would see him in the morning when he came to bring me home.

200 beats per minute feel like your heart is trying to jump out of your chest. I was hoping for the numbness in my feet to return because that didn’t hurt like the pain I was feeling in the middle of my chest. The concern that was going through my mind too for the baby in my belly.

What else could go wrong?

Back to that in the next newsletter…
