ā€œLove Always Risesā€

At 5 a.m., the world was still dark, but Mia was already awake.

Her baby stirred, tiny cries echoing through the quiet.

She hadn't slept more than two hours, her body aching with exhaustion.

Still, she rose—again.

She cradled her child, whispering lullabies through yawns.

As dawn crept through the window, golden light kissed both their faces.

The moment was simple, but sacred.

Mia looked at her child’s peaceful eyes and felt her heart swell.

It didn’t matter how tired she was. Love—like sunlight, like hope—rose anyway.

Motherhood wasn’t glamorous.

It was quiet resilience.

It was rocking your baby when no one saw, finding strength when you felt empty, rising each day with a heart full of purpose.

Love Always Rises

And in that morning light, with her child nestled close, Mia knew: her love was enough.

Because love always rises—just like a mom’s hope, no matter how tired she is. šŸ’›šŸŒ…šŸ¤±

2 šŸŒŸ Super Ideas of the Week

1 - Virtual Zoo or Museum Visits – Explore the World Together! šŸ¦šŸŽØ

Many zoos, aquariums, and museums offer virtual tours and live animal cams! Pick a theme (dinosaurs, ocean animals, space), watch videos together, and talk about what you see. You can even print coloring pages related to your ā€œfield tripā€ to make it interactive.

šŸ’” Super Tip: If you have limited energy, let your child take ā€œnotesā€ or draw their favorite part to share with you afterward!

2 - Music & Movement – Dance Party or Relaxation Time! šŸŽ¶šŸ’ƒ

Whether it’s a full-on dance party with silly moves or a calming music session with soft lights and breathing exercises, music is a great way to connect. Let your child be the DJ and pick songs for different moods—happy, sleepy, silly!

šŸ’” Super Tip: If mobility is a challenge, use hand movements, clapping games, or simple seated stretches to join in the fun!

How is THIS going to affect my baby? …(Continued from issue 23)

There I was back in my home, sleeping in my bed at least 10 pounds (4.5 kg) lighter due to having to limit my calorie intake and taking insulin shots.

I had to call my mom to help me with my everyday duties of running a home and to take care of me.

Even though I was able to ā€œwalkā€ it still took a lot of energy to do so.

Oh, and don’t forget I was on a limited calorie intake, so even the limited movement I was doing, just going from the chair to the bathroom, took more out of me.

So what stress am I up to now?

Keep stress levels low because I am pregnant but…

First, I had the morning sickness which was stressful.

Second, there was all the talk of the world coming to an end due to Y2K.

Third, I was bleeding vaginally.

Fourth, MS made me a paraplegic.

Fifth, my heart rate went above 200 beats per minute.

Sixth, my husband had to be called back to the hospital because the doctors wanted to STOP MY HEART!!!!!

Seventh, my baby could die, so that we could save my life!

Eighth, why am I still in the hospital?

Ninth, complications for the baby just to do a test?

Tenth, waiting for the results from that radioactive isotope test!

Eleventh, what’s in the bag?

Twelfth, Oranges and needles?

Thirteenth, Do I have diabetes too?

Fourteenth, MS confirmed?

Fifteen, MS confirmed!!! How?

Sixteen, Call Mom to help?

Seventeen, How’s the baby doing?

Now that I have regained my ability to walk around my home, and my mom being an avid shopper, we went to her favorite stores.

That was the one thing I did not inherit from my mom, her love of shopping. I, myself, would rather go swimming with sharks than go shopping because I was bored. My mom on the other hand loves to go shopping just to look to see what they have.

My mom found a cheap wheelchair in the neighborhood and pushed me around the stores. This was a good time for my mom because I was willing to go just to get out of the house and not see a doctor.

The only other times I was taken out of my house was to go for the weekly ultrasounds.

It was great having my mom around, but she still had 2 kids, high school-aged boys, back at her home and my dad. She had to return to her home that was over 2-hour drive away to check on the boys.

She promised to return for the next ultrasound appointment the following week.

So far everything seemed to be just fine. My husband arranged to be able to work from home so that I wasn’t alone.

Truthfully, I wasn’t alone. I had my baby growing inside of me and my 2 beagle pups, my first babies.

Hubby and I started our Lamaze classes and the baby shower was happening at my mom’s house in the coming weeks.

So far, the baby, according to the ultrasounds and measurements, was doing just fine.

But what was this pain I kept feeling?

Back to that in the next newsletter…
